Dr. Giordano's major research interests include determining the molecular mechanisms by which cancer cells efficiently translate RNAs and identifying small molecules that target these mechanisms as better cancer treatments and in identifying targets involved in Alzheimer’s disease progression for potential therapeutic intervention.
